Margaret Isobel Finster was my mother. She was known as Meg throughout her life. Meg was the elder daughter of Alwyn Guido and Sybil Lorraine Finster (née Garde). Alwyn Guido Finster was the eldest son of Arthur George Finster and Isabella Finster (née Elliott) and is my grandfather. He was born in Bendigo on 6th December 1886.
